Real Assets Definition
Real Assets are physical Assets of intrinsic value.
Real Assets are a type of physical asset that posses some form of intrinsic value, a Real Asset is a Tangible Asset i.e. can be touched. Examples of Real Assets include:
Buildings
Commodities
Land
The intrinsic value of a Real Asset will derive from its characteristics and physical attributes. It is in this way they are different to Financial Assets as their value isn't reliant on a third party entity i.e. an exhange.
